Warm Cheesy Artichoke Dip

This recipe is so tasty that I almost feel bad that it starts with a Tastefully Simple product.  Which means its super easy to make.

I, of course, always have to find a way to put my own twist on recipes.

So, I don’t exactly follow the directions that accompany the Tastefully Simple mix.

Here’s my version:

1 packet of Tastefully Simple’s Artichoke & Spinach Dip Mix
1/2  C mayo
1/2  C sour cream
1  C finely shredded swiss cheese
1  8-0z. block of cream cheese
1  T finely minced garlic
1  t onion powder
1/2  C finely shredded parmesan

Mix the mayo and sour cream by hand.  Beat this mixture (I used a hand blender) into the cream cheese until everything is well combined.  Stir in swiss, garlic, and onion powder. Scoop mixture into a casserole dish, preferably to a thickness of about an inch.  Cover, and heat in oven or microwave until cheeses melted.

Sprinkle with parmesan, and serve with Old England Melba Toast (click here for my review of this product), blue corn chips, or the like.

Note:  This is also a yummy spread on a sandwich of cold cuts.
