The girls headed out this afternoon with their little goody packages for the little kids on our block. They had a blast with the delivery duty.
Hubby decided to take all his girls out to supper. Now THAT’S what I call a gift! Flowers die, chocolate sits on my rear end, but supper I don’t have to plan, cook, or clean up after? That’s just a little piece of Mommy Heaven.
So. Here are the girls at Rocky’s.
Not sure why she was pouting THIS time — maybe I told her to be quiet? Or to eat? Don’t recall. Substitute any reasonable parental action/statement that induces pouting in a 3-year-old.
I think she was laughing at Amy pouting.
Kate was attempting to attract my attention with her Evil Genius eye-roll. It worked.
We topped of our evening of Valentine fun by renting Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. And you can’t watch a movie without popcorn, of course. What could be better?

That is a nice V-Day! On the other side…we slept in, ate heart-shaped pancakes with blueberries and RediWhip…spent the day being lazy and I took only Amy out to dinner. It helps to have the built-in sitter for the last minute plans that come together. But we all did the traditional flowers, candy, and cards! My sister is dead-set against the whole Hallmark(c) made holiday and doesn’t care for the commercialization of ‘love and care’ of another. I say…what the h*ll. We can all use a reminder once in a while to recognize the better feelings in life. Someday, maybe we’ll have an ‘anti-Valentine’s Day’. Another reason to buy a card!
