Brownies are baking in the oven so Kate can take them for her “Special K” week tomorrow. Nothing smells quite as good as the aroma of homemade baked goods wafting through the house. What a pleasant way to end a rather fragmented day.
While this may be hard to believe, I’ve been putting off quite a few items every evening to do things such as try to get a better understanding of the technical details of blogging. My hair no longer is just showing my “roots,” it looks like I’m going for some strange striped effect. Which I am decidedly NOT. Tomorrow will be devoted to all kinds of household tasks and Brownie preparation activities, so I’m going to bid you an early farewell this evening and attempt to make a little time for me.
I hope you each have had a lovely day – or at least that the day was tolerable – and that your evening at home with your families, or however you choose to spend it, helps renew you for what lies in wait for you tomorrow.
